Riu Is Opening a New Adults-Only Resort Near Cancun
Riu Hotels and Resorts is opening another new all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The Spanish company is set to debut the new Riu Latino in Costa Mujeres near Cancun in October.
The adults-only resort, which officially opens Oct. 1, is set in the fast-growing Costa Mujeres, sometimes dubbed the “New Cancun.”
It joins a pair of Riu resorts in the area: Riu Dunamar and Riu Costa Mujeres, both of which opened prior to the pandemic.
The 550-room property will be the only adults-only resort in Costa Mujeres.
Amenities will range from five different pools to access to the Splash Water World water park.
