The Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico has completed a significant expansion project, officially debuting its new South Tower.

The new building adds 72 suites to the property, bringing the total room inventory across two towers to 145.

The new tower includes three new gourmet eateries, a rooftop with an infinity pool and a dramatically designed new lobby.

The new restaurants include DAO, featuring contemporary Chinese cuisine; NOI, an Italian eatery; and the Rooftop Restaurant and Bar.

The Mousai is part of the TAFER Hotels and Resorts portfolio, which recently opened its new Garza Blanca resort in Cancun.

The resort has additionally debuted the TierraLuna Village, an open-air shopping and entertainment concept.

“I am thrilled to lead the further expansion of TAFER’s  luxury portfolio with the opening of Hotel Mousai’s South Tower,” said Sasa Milojevic, Chief Operating Officer for TAFER Hotels & Resorts. “This is an extremely exciting time to be a part of a growing hospitality brand that will ultimately provide more options to elevate our guest’s vacation experiences throughout Mexico’s premiere destinations.”
