The first new resort in Aruba in years officially opened its doors this week, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The new Radisson Blu Aruba is set on the Dutch Caribbean island’s popular Palm Beach, home to most of Aruba’s top resorts.
The residential-style resort has a total of 133 suites, all of which have multiple bedrooms, free Wi-Fi, full kitchens and views of either the ocean, the island or the pool.
It’s the only Radisson Blu property in the Caribbean, and the first in the region since the departure of the Radisson Blu brand from St Martin back in 2014.
There are two dining concepts: the all-day dining eatery Sunset Bistro, along with a pool bar called Aqua Breeze.
A third concept, the FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar, is slated to open in September.
There’s also room service from 7 AM to 10:30 PM each day.
The resort is also offering antigen testing on site to help travelers comply with CDC requirements for return travel.
