More Airlines Relaunch Flights to Saint Lucia

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - November 9, 2020

Saint Lucia has gotten a major boost with the relaunch of four international flight routes to the island, Caribbean Journal has learned.

That includes the return of United Airlines’ flights from Newark; JetBlue from Boston; a second American Airlines flight from Miami and the highly-anticipated return of Air Canada from Toronto.

“While we navigate this pandemic, we know that at this juncture tourism is really what the world is looking to as an economic driver and for us here in Saint Lucia, we continue to manage visitor arrivals in a very responsible manner,” said Saint Lucia Tourism Minister Dominic Fedee.

More than 30 hotels have now received approval to reopen under Saint Lucia’s COVID-19 certification program.

Saint Lucia reopened for tourism in June.
