Swoop, WestJet Airlines’ new low-cost carrier, is adding a new destination in Mexico.
The airline has released its new winter schedule, with plans to launch a pair of new twice-weekly services from Edmonton and Winnipeg to Los Cabos.
“The 2019 winter schedule adds Los Cabos and expands service at existing domestic locations,” said Steven Greenway, President of Swoop. “This past year we’ve learned that our network is solid and now we’re tweaking it using our next three planned aircraft deliveries. Our travellers have been asking for more sun-service and we have responded by adding route from Winnipeg, Edmonton and London, Ontario.
Edmonton will be adding service to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Los Cabos and Cancun.
Swoop is also launching new service from London, Ontario to Cancun.
The carrier also operates flights to Montego Bay, Jamaica as part of its wider Caribbean network.
