A New All-Inclusive Is Coming to Tulum

AMResorts’ Breathless brand is coming to the hippest destination in Mexico: Tulum.

Continuing the company’s partnership with Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe, AMResorts, the region’s fastest-growing hotel company, has announced a new resort management deal to bring a Breathless resort to the bustling beach town.

HOTEL will be responsible for operating the property, while AMResorts will oversee the brand management, marketing and sales of the resort.

The new Breathless Tulum Resort and Spa is slated to make its official debut in 2021, with 300 suites.

It’s a design that, while far larger than most Tulum hotels, will fit right in with its stunning, contemporary aesthetic.

The news comes after ALG and Grupo Hotelero Sante Fe co-branded three resorts earlier this year in Punta Cancun, Nuevo Vallarta and Los Cabos under AMResorts’ new brand, Reflect Resorts and Krystal Grand.

“Our strong relationship with Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe demonstrates ALG is the right resort brand management partner for owners seeking to maximize their investments through our powerful distribution channels,” said Javier Coll, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Apple Leisure Group, the parent company of AMResorts. “As Tulum welcomed more than 300,000 visitors* this summer alone, we are excited to expand our presence in one of Mexico’s top travel destinations.”

AMResorts now has 54 resorts in its current portfolio, with another 10,000 rooms in its development pipeline.

“Breathless is the perfect match for Tulum, as it is the first to offer all the services and amenities of a [Mexican Secretary of Tourism-designated] Grand Tourism category property in the area, which will allow more sophisticated travelers to reach this destination,” said Francisco Zinser Cieslik, Executive Vice President of Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe.

For its part, Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe now has 28 hotels in its portfolio, with 6,932 rooms across Mexico, including those in construction or expansion.
