The Caribbean’s fastest-growing carrier is seeing continued strong traffic growth.
New York-based JetBlue, which has been rapidly expanding in the Caribbean, saw a 12.1 percent increase in revenue passenger miles in March, with 3.965 billion, according to its latest report.
The carrier also saw a 12.5 percent increase in available seat miles, with 4.57 billion.
Load factor for the carrier in March was 86.8 percent, a slight decrease of 0.4 percentage points in the period.
JetBlue has been adding new destinations across the region, along with an expansion of its Mint premium cabin service to a number of Caribbean islands.
The company operates an average of 900 daily flights to 96 cities in the US, the Caribbean and Latin America.
