Starwood Continuing Latin America-Caribbean Expansion
Starwood is planning another hotel in the region.
The Westin Monterrey hotel in Mexico is slated to debut in 2019, part of a wider expansion in Latin America and the Caribbean for the company.
The property is developed by Desarrollos Missouri, and will be managed by Starwood.
Westin has existing hotels in Mexico in Mexico DF, Guadalajara, Los Cabos, Cancun and Puerto Vallarta.

The 180-room hotel will include a rooftop pool, a Heavenly Spa and two restaurants.
The are 14 Westin-branded hotels in the Latin America and Caribbean region, with the Westin Cozumel set to open off the Caribbean coast of Mexico later this year.
