How to Fly Nonstop to Punta Cana on British Airways This Winter
The white-sand beaches. The all-inclusive resorts. The bachata. If you’re looking to fly from the UK to the Dominican Republic’s tourism capital, British Airways has a full flight schedule this winter.
For the upcoming season, British Airways is flying three flights per week, according to a schedule provided to Caribbean Journal.
That includes flights on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Saturday flights from London Gatwick to Punta Cana depart at 11:55 AM local time, arriving in the Dominican Republic at 5:15 PM.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the UK-Punta Cana flights leave at 1:10 PM and get in to Punta Cana International Airport at 6:30PM.
Are you planning a Punta Cana getaway this winter?
Other than a small number of EP hotels, your best option is an all-inclusive resort, as that is the anchor of the tourism industry in Punta Cana.
Our favorite all-around resort is the Lopesan Costa Bavaro, the first-ever Caribbean property by the Spanish brand that’s an exceptionally well-thought-out property, one that regularly lands the top spot in our list of the top all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana. Rates from $394.
What about the flight prices?
Right now, fares for the nonstop route from Gatwick are $1,097, according to data from Google Flights.
