Bonaire continues to see positive tourism growth even in the typically slower summer season, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The Dutch Caribbean destination reported 14,320 stayover visitors in July, a 1.5 percent increase compared to the same month in 2023.
That represented a nearly 9.4 percent jump over June 2019, before the onset of the pandemic.
Dutch visitors remain the largest source of tourism, accounting for 51 percent of all travelers to the island.
The United States sent 2,996 visitors, or about 21 percent of all visitors in the period.
