Delta Air Lines Is Launching Nonstop Flights From New York to Antigua and Barbuda
Maybe you know about the 365 beaches. Or the spectacular all-inclusive resorts like Hammock Cove, Curtain Bluff and Hermitage Bay. Or the world-class snorkeling. If you don’t, it’s time to start planning your trip to the twin-island paradise of Antigua and Barbuda.
And it’s about to get a whole lot easier.
Delta is set to launch nonstop service between the all-important New York market and Antigua, with plans to kick off service beginning on Jan. 11, 2025.
The new route is a relaunch of what had been a popular route before the pandemic.
But that’s not the only thing.
Delta is also significantly ramping up service between Atlanta and Antigua. Right now, Delta is operating one weekly flight to Antigua on Saturdays out of its Atlanta hub.
For the holiday season, however, Delta will be turning that into a daily flight, the company confirmed to Caribbean Journal.
Are you planning a vacation to Antigua?
As we mentioned, we’ve experienced the best of the island’s resorts, and its all-inclusive product is a particular standout.
That means boutique luxury options like Hammock Cove, romantic retreats like Galley Bay and Keyonna Beach Resort; grand family-friendly hotels like Hammock Cove; and ultra-luxe private-island destinations like Oetker’s Jumby Bay Island.
But that’s just the beginning for a destination that has been buzzing of late, with strong tourism numbers and a strong position as one of the most beautiful, most romantic getaways in all of the Caribbean.
