In Montego Bay, Envisioning a New Caribbean Tourism Landscape
The upcoming Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Organization’s Caribbean Travel Forum will envision a “new tourism landscape” for the region.
This year’s forum, the third annual edition of the event, will be held to kick off the CHTA’s Caribbean Travel Marketplace in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
This year’s Marketplace, which is set at the Montego Bay Convention Center, will run the week of May 20. The Forum will be held on May 20.
The gathering brings together top regional and international thought leaders to discuss tourism business opportunities and strategies for success.
That will include a presentation by CHTA President Nicola Madden-Greig, who will give a “State of the Industry” address covering key data and insights and a look at the outlook for regional tourism.
Notable speakers will include Kenneth Bryan, Cayman Islands Tourism Minister and Chairman of the Caribbean Tourism Organization; Jamaica Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett; Sheila Johnson, CEO of Salamander Hotels and Resorts; and Adam Stewart, executive chairman of Sandals Resorts International, among others.
