Nassau’s Best-Value All-Inclusive Comes With 1,000 Feet of Perfect Beach

By: Alexander Britell - May 10, 2025 - 9:27 pm

Your hammock is tied between a pair of trees. There’s a Bahama Mama in your hand. And you’re hovering over one of the best beaches in the world.

If you know the story of tourism in The Bahamas, you know it largely began right on this beach. Cable Beach is nearly three miles of some of the most sublime, shimmering, sugar-white sand you’ve ever seen, and it remains one of the country’s lasting jewels.

And Cable Beach remains the biggest amenity at one of the best-value all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean: Breezes, the legendary retreat smack in the middle of Cable Beach that combines classic comfort, natural Bahamian charm and an always-fun vibe.

The nearly-400-room retreat boasts about 1,000 feet of Cable Beach frontage, meaning you won’t be fighting for any space.

Yes, you can even go for a direct-beachfront room.

The property, set across two towers, is all about easy, barefoot fun, where the hours are measured in Bahama Mamas and you never have to reach for your wallet.

There’s quite a lot here: five dining concepts, ranging from the Italian eatery called Martino’s (pass the lasagna) to the resort’s beloved Reggae Cafe, where we stopped quite a bit on our last visit to the resort.

There are bars just about everywhere, from the pool to the lobby, with every cocktail you can come up with (though we tended toward the Goombay Smash) and easy, quick service.

While it’s not part of the all-inclusive program, you can opt for a toes-in-the-sand dinner right on the beach, and at about $150 per couple it’s always worth the splurge for a lasting memory.

Yes, there’s now pickleball, just steps from the beach.

You can choose from eight different room categories: classic and garden view all the way up to a presidential suite. Our favorite? The toes-in-the-sand rooms, which have direct resort and beach access, meaning you literally walk right out of your door onto the beach.

And the activities are there, too, whether you want to go for a round of pickleball, take a dip in one of the beachfront pools or opt for a massage at Blue Mahoe.

But it all comes back to this beach. When you look out at sunset and see the way the light hits the water, everything just seems to make perfect sense. On my last visit, there was a simple, wonderful formula: morning coffee, head to the beach, repeat. It’s the simple, and it works magically.

Cable Beach is one of those stretches of sand you just simply don’t want to leave. And at Breezes, you never have to.

What about prices? You can book a classic room for just $360 per night, all-inclusive, the best value on the island for sure.
