Corendon Is Getting into Cruising, With Plans to Start Later This Year
European travel brand Corendon, which has several resorts in the Dutch Caribbean, is getting into cruising.
The company is launching its first-ever Caribbean cruises, with plans to homeport in Curacao.
So far, the early returns are strong, with applications “exceeding expectations,” according to the company.
The plan is to start with a former Holland America cruise ship called Renaissance, which is being renovated to become a Corendon ship.
The cruises are sailing in partnership with English firm Ambassador Cruise Line.
The first Corendon cruise will set sail this November, with plans to visit a number of Caribbean hotspots like Grenada, St Maarten, St Vincent and Antigua and Barbuda, among others.
This year’s schedule will start with eight cruises, with two each in November, December, January 2026 and February 2026.
