The 25 Best All-Inclusive Resorts in the Caribbean for 2025, From Beach Hotels to Private Hideaways to Overwater Bungalows

all-inclusive resorts caribbean

Galley Bay, our number one all-inclusive resort for 2025.

Today’s travelers want experiences. They want great food. They want authenticity. They want thoughtful service. But if you’re been following the travel industry in the last half-decade, you know that what today’s travelers really want are all-inclusive resorts. The all-inclusive concept keeps booming, with just about every hotel brand entering the space in some form from Marriott to Hilton to Wyndham to Accor, and the Caribbean pipeline keeps getting bigger.

But the best all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean are able to deliver all of the things visitors are demanding while keeping things in the all-inclusive format. Because while all-inclusive used to be a qualitative term, today it simply means that from the moment you check in, you never have to reach for your wallet. People crave the convenience, wishing to focus on their vacations rather than inspecting their checks six times a day.

We travel across the Caribbean and stay and experience all of the region’s top places to stay, and our team of world-class travel experts has curated a list of 25 resorts tailor-made for the demands of the modern traveler. Some are private islands, some are boutique hotels, some are larger resorts. What they have in common is that they’re unique, they’re beautiful, they’re authentic and they’re focused on delivering unforgettable experiences. And they just so happen to be all-inclusive, meaning everything is included: food, drink, snacks and, at many of these properties, everything from adventure tours to cooking classes.

A room at Galley Bay.

Galley Bay Resort and Spa, Antigua Our number one all-inclusive in the Caribbean for 2025 sits on one of the most spectacularly beautiful beaches anywhere in the Caribbean. But that’s very much the beginning at this romantic, charming, 98-room resort where you can choose from toes-in-the-sand suites where you step out to the beach to the captivating Gauguin Suites, replete with private plunge pools. This adults-only stunner (now a part of Virtuoso) has it all, from abundant species of tropical birds to a pan-Caribbean rum shack.

Hammock Cove in Antigua.

Hammock Cove, Antigua You won’t find rooms like this anywhere else in the Caribbean. The boutique Antigua adults-only resort is exclusively comprised of spacious hillside cottages, all with wet decks, private infinity pools and sweeping views of one of the island’s most beautiful bays. The beach is fantastic, deliciously serene and quiet, with a great beach bar and cool touches like transparent kayaks to get out on the water. But guests rave most about the food, overseen by Michelin-pedigree Chef Marco Festini.

ambergris cay
Ambergris Cay in Turks and Caicos.

Ambergris Cay, Turks and Caicos This small resort a short flight from Providenciales has gained a devoted following for its impressive mix of bungalows and luxury villas on a pristine, beach-filled private island. The bungalows are all bright and sleekly designed, all with private pools, and the inclusions are unique and varied, from bone fishing you can do right on shore, hiking, s’mores and dedicated service at the main pool.

grenada beach
The beach at the Spice Island Beach Resort in Grenada.

Spice Island Beach Resort, Grenada It’s the resort that first put Grenada on the map as a luxury destination, and one that arguably created the luxury all-inclusive concept in the Caribbean. It’s a five-star, five-diamond resort where everything is bespoke and where the Hopkin family’s philosophy is about making guests truly feel special — something that’s a bit of a lost art at many resorts these days. Whether you choose the beachfront suites or the garden suites with private pools, you’ll find yourself transported to a very different kind of Caribbean experience, where thoughtful, detail-oriented luxury meets authenticity.

all-inclusive resorts caribbean
It’s the new crown jewel of Isla Mujeres.

Almare, a Luxury Collection Resort, Isla Mujeres This tiny island off the coast of Cancun hasn’t ever been a cookie-cutter destination – it’s a place where golf carts roam and the emphasis is on low-key charm. That’s why Marriott had a tough task creating an all-inclusive experience that would blend in with the vibes of Isla Mujeres; but that’s precisely what they did, with a sleek design that works seamlessly with the environment, outstanding service and food that’s not what you often get even at the top culinary-focused all-inclusives. Rooms from $758.

Bahamas Punta Cana Hotels
The Lopesan Costa Bavaro resort.

Lopesan Costa Bavaro, Dominican Republic Maybe you’ve been to an all-inclusive. Maybe you’ve been to Punta Cana. This first Caribbean effort by the Lopesan brand is something very different, and very welcome. The property is large but its design never makes you feel like it, and there’s exceptional thought given to just about every aspect of the place, from the impressive design throughout to The Boardwalk, the fantastic open-air shopping promenade that offers the kinds of evening strolls you really can’t do at a typical Caribbean all-inclusive (we really loved it on our recent stay at the property). It’s probably the most complete family resort in the Caribbean, but its swim-up rooms are also perfect hideaways for couples. The choice is yours, and at this property, your choices are endless. Rooms from $543.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya No matter where you go in the Caribbean, Margaritaville always delivers on the experience. It’s fun, the service is always good, the design is bright, crisp and modern, and the vibes are unmatched. That’s particularly true at this Riviera Maya retreat, with 355 rooms, nine different food and beverage concepts and, yes, some lovely swim-up suites. Rooms from $216, according to Google Hotels.

adults only hotels resorts caribbean
Plunge pool suites at the newest Sandals in the Caribbean.

Sandals Royal Curacao It’s hard to overstate the impact this resort has had on the island of Curacao. When it first opened its doors in 2022, it almost instantly generate a wave of new American tourism to the island, and the destination hasn’t slowed down since, with new flights and a new energy. The property itself is fantastic: the food is the diverse, high-quality fare you expect from Sandals and the rooms are beautiful, particularly the one-of-a-kind Awa bungalows that have their own pools perched right above the sea. Even better? They come with their own Mini Coopers. Rooms from $336.

all-inclusive vacation caribbean summer
The Verandah Antigua.

The Verandah Antigua The newest adults-only resort in Antigua has a bit of everything, from an impressive pickleball offering to two beautiful beaches to the Caribbean’s best new hotel bar, an amenity we thoroughly enjoyed on our recent stay. We also love the feel here, where the design emphasizes a collection of charming classic Caribbean cottages, many with superb views of the bay.

all-inclusive caves
The Caves.

The Caves, Jamaica Jamaica has some of the best non-all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean. On the all-inclusive side, the island’s emphasis is mostly on big-box, mostly forgettable properties — the complete opposite of this marvelous boutique resort on the cliffs of Negril. Everything at The Caves is a direct, unadulterated distillation of Jamaica, from the magnificent food to the Blackwell Rum Bar and the locally-infused spa. $574 per night.

All-Inclusive Caribbean Panama Resort
Los Establos, the Caribbean’s ultimate all-inclusive adventure resort.

Los Establos, Panama All-inclusive is getting more competitive than ever, and that means hotels are trying to do more, to offer more. We can’t think of a property with a more compelling offering than this one: set on a 16-acre property in the heart of Panama’s hills, it gives travelers a free excursion with every day of their stay. And no, it’s not basic stuff. Think immersive coffee tours, unforgettable zip-lining and journeys to hot-springs. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime place you can go back to every year.

caribbean all-inclusive pool cottages
Pool cottages at the “vintage” resort.

Keyonna Beach, Antigua The southwestern coast of Antigua has some seriously spectacular sand, and that’s the scene for this 18-room hideaway where the emphasis is on barefoot elegance, whether you’re in one of the beachfront Bali beds or in your own lush garden pool. Guests also rave about the Antiguan-focused cuisine. Rooms from $1,215.

Viva Miches by Wyndham Miches is the next big thing in the Dominican Republic, a breathtakingly beautiful area on the Bay of Samana that’s about an hour and a half from Punta Cana but feels like a completely different universe. The newest entry in this increasingly hot hotel market? The Viva Miches, the latest extension of the beloved Viva Resorts by Wyndham brand, which has turned the fun, beachy all-inclusive into something of an art form. The resort has 538 rooms, along with 10 dining concepts and a swim-up bar; many of the rooms have their own private pools, too. The Viva brand always offers great value, too — and you can find rooms for $320 for night right now.

best all-inclusive paradise island
The adults-only Warwick Paradise Island resort.

Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas Somehow, this resort still feels like a well-kept secret. The location is fantastic, in the heart of Paradise Island and close to everything, form the Atlantis casino to Cabbage Beach, and perched on a jaw-dropping location on Nassau Harbour. This is a fun, activity-filled all-inclusive (from Zumba to poker tournaments to cornhole) with colorful, sleek rooms, a great pool scene and truly excellent food.

saint lucia resorts adults-only
The top all-inclusive on the island.

Serenity at Coconut Bay, Saint Lucia The best all-inclusive resort in Saint Lucia is this resort-within-a-resort at the popular Coconut Bay property in Vieux Fort at the southern tip of the island. There are just 36 suites here, all deliciously private,  all with private pools, stocked bars, butler service and 24-hour room service. That all adds up to an unrivaled honeymoon resort, and you can enjoy all the amenities of Coconut Bay itself (make sure you try a kitesurfing lesson) if you feel like leaving your room. But with accommodations like these, odds are you won’t want to leave.

playa mujeres cancun all-inclusive caribbean resort
The new SLS in Playa Mujeres.

SLS Playa Mujeres It seems like just about every major hotel brand is getting into the all-inclusive space, and that now includes SLS, a hotel company that was always known for its nightclub-style pools and hip vibes. Somehow SLS has managed to fuse those ideas into a family-friendly all-inclusive, and the result is a sharply-designed, exceedingly cool resort with modern rooms and an impressive food and beverage product, along with SLS-style touches like a rooftop jacuzzi and a special elevated club called SLS Elite.

st james club
It’s just a beautiful place to be.

St James’ Club and Villas, Antigua This is one of the most beautiful resorts in the Caribbean, period. Set on a 100-acre eninsula straddled by two picturesque white-sand beaches, it’s a place designed for active travelers, with everything from pickleball courts right near the beach to six different pools to a state-of-the-art fitness center.

02 beach club

O2 Beach Club and Spa, Barbados How do you blow a conch shell? Or play dominos? Or cook classic Bajan food? You can find out with one of the very cool included lessons at this 130-room hotel that feels far smaller and more intimate. It’s just a very creative, thoughtfully designed all-inclusive, including the rooftop tapas bar we immediately fell in love with. Rooms from $1,411.

Hawskbill Resort, Antigua One of the newer entries on this list, it’s a transformation of a legendary Antigua resort into an endearing, toes-in-the-sand retreat with four beaches, and the sort of uncrowded, breezy vibes that are a rather rare thing these days at any resort in the Caribbean, all-inclusive or otherwise. It’s also home to the only clothing-optional beach in Antigua. Prices from $539.

sandals st vincent
The newest Sandals in the Caribbean.

Sandals St Vincent and the Grenadines The island of St Vincent didn’t have a full-fledged international airport until 2017, and it didn’t have a noteworthy hotel until, well, the spring of 2024, when Sandals opened its first-ever resort in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The result was a game-changer for St Vincent and a sparkling new example of Sandals’ modern approach to Caribbean all-inclusive, including the latest iteration of its innovative overwater villa concept. Rooms from $1,000 based on double occupancy.

curtain bluff antigua
Curtain Bluff in Antigua.

Curtain Bluff, Antigua If you’re sensing a trend, that’s because Antigua is, in our opinion, the undisputed leader in luxury all-inclusive resorts, with a more diverse, higher quality collection than any other destination.

That includes this legendary resort on a picture-perfect promontory on the southern coast of the island. Curtain Bluff has been a celebrity favorite for decades, but it’s really just beloved by discerning luxury travelers looking for a classic, elegant luxury resort where you never have to reach for your wallet. When you stay here, whether it’s for the tennis, the beaches, the sailing or the cocktails, you feel like you’ve returned to your own private club. (Interestingly, it’s also the rare all-inclusive that’s part of the foodie-friendly Relais & Chateaux network). Rooms at $2,380.

living room lobby
The living room-style lobby.

The House, Barbados Every time we’ve stayed here, we’ve been enchanted by the decidedly unique personality of the place. From the moment your car rolls over the wooden drawbridge to your first glass of champagne at breakfast, you’re smitten, falling hard for a chic, fun, sans-pretense little resort that exemplifies Barbados’ brand of Platinum Coast cool. Even better? It’s now part of the Marriott all-inclusive portfolio. Rooms from $1,083.

Pineapple Beach Club, Antigua Long Bay is one of the most postcard-perfect beaches in the Caribbean, full of stop. And that means the adults-only Pineapple Beach Club is already starting in a very good place. And the resort, which just underwent a revamp, has never looked better, the quintessential all-inclsuive resort for beach lovers. That’s without mentioning what is arguably the top pickleball offering anywhere the Caribbean, with a whopping six different courts.

Sea Breeze Beach House The first time we stayed here, we were blown away by the food. Not the international fare you expect at most all-inclusive resorts, but the flying fish. It was as good a flying fish as we’d had in Barbados, a very daunting feat for any resort on the island. But that approach to delivering an authentic experience immediately had us on notice, and it’s one of many reasons to visit this always-welcoming, always-well-run hotel with colorful, art-filled rooms and a stunning stretch of south coast beach. Rooms from $741.

Royalton CHIC Antigua If you’ve traveled around the Caribbean, you’ve no doubt encountered the Royalton brand in places like Jamaica, the Mexican Caribbean and the Dominican Republic, among others. Rarer is its CHIC concept, a special adults-only resort brand that’s all about entertainment and fun with an elevated feel. And that’s precisely what you get at its Antigua outpost, with an extra layer of luxury: a handful of true overwater suites with oceanfront infinity pools, wet decks and glass floors, among other touches.
