St Kitts Is Hot Right Now, With Cruise and Hotel Numbers Surging
St Kitts is having a major December, with both cruise and hotel numbers surging, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The island welcomed 11,334 passengers to the island on Dec. 26 alone, with six different ships arriving at Port Zante.
The island is welcoming “one of the largest influxes of visitors in its history,” officials said this week.
The island is also seeing “high hotel occupancy,” according to a spokesperson, leading to a “vibrant holiday.”
“The influx underscores the island’s reputation as a premier destination for culture, relaxation and entertainment,” according to a statement.
The “remarkable visitor numbers are a testament to the growing appeal of St Kitts as a leading Caribbean destination,” Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson said.
“The combined excitement of the Christmas and Carnival celebrations provides a unique opportunity to showcase our culture, hospitality, and breathtaking landscapes,” she said.
