The new Iberostar resort opening soon on Eagle Beach.

Iberostar is planning the grand opening of its new Joia Beach resort in Aruba to January, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The property will begin in soft opening in the week of December, according to Iberostar’s website.

The 240-suite resort will be set on Eagle Beach, one of our favorite beaches in the Caribbean. It will be adults-only, but, notably, not an all-inclusive.

The new property is one that “reflects Iberostar’s dedication to excellence, authentic experiences, and sustainable tourism,” according to Phil McAveety, CEO of Iberostar.

“This grand opening marks an exciting chapter for us, as we continue to foster connections and contribute positively to the vibrant culture of the island.”

So what will it cost?

If you’re planning to stay in the last week of December, it will run you about $1,531.75 per night.

Join Beach is one of two major resorts opening soon in Aruba, along with the highly-anticipated new St. Regis Aruba, which will be set on Palm Beach.

Aruba is a small collection of adults-only resorts on the island. Our favorites are the lovely Boardwalk Boutique Hotel and the sustainability-focused Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort.
