It was another strong month for travel to Curacao last month, with the in-demand Caribbean island reporting just under 60,000 visitors in November.

That represented a 15 percent jump over the same period in 2023, a sign of the island’s continued popularity.

A surge in US travelers has been driving much of Curacao’s growth, and that was particularly true in November, when the island welcomed 14,660 visitors — a whopping 31 percent increase year over year.

The mainland Netherlands market buoyed the island overall, with just under 21,000 Dutch visitors and a 15 percent increase in travel from Holland.

For the year, Curacao is reporting 626,592 stayover arrivals, along with 28,332 day trippers and 706,077 cruise passengers.

The combined total of 1.36 million is a 20 percent increase over the first 11 months of last year.

In other words, Curacao is hot right now.
