The Love Boat is in Port Canaveral. Princess Cruises, famous as the real-life ship behind the legendary TV series “The Love Boat,” has taken its Caribbean Princess to Port Canaveral.

The ship will now be sailing a Caribbean season out of the popular port, beginning with this week’s Thanksgiving cruise to Turks and Caicos.

Caribbean Princess will be sailing a mix of six and eight-day cruises, with voyages to both the Eastern Caribbean and Western Caribbean this season.

In all, the ship will be making 19 more cruises this season, hitting ports ranging from Nassau and Grand Turk to St Thomas, Belize City and Cozumel.

“We’re beyond thrilled to welcome the beautiful Caribbean Princess to Port Canaveral – a cruise line our guests have been requesting for a long time,” said Captain John Murray, Port Canaveral CEO. “Port Canaveral is committed to offering our guests diverse cruise options, and Caribbean Princess is the perfect addition to this market with its stunning décor and innovative technology, hallmarks of the Princess Cruises experience.”

How much does it cost?

A 6-day Eastern Caribbean cruise stopping in Grand Bahama, Grand Turk and the Dominican Republic has rates starting at $528 right now, according to the company’s website.
