Cape Air Is Adding a New Flight to St Kitts From the US Virgin Islands
The rainforests. The hiking. The beaches. The farm-to-table culture. The scenic railway. St Kitts is one of the Caribbean’s most diverse destinations, whether you’re seeking an eco-tourism vacation or a luxury getaway.
Next month, it’s getting even easier to fly to the Eastern Caribbean island: Cape Air is adding its first-ever service between St Thomas and St Kitts.
The new flights will actually include four times weekly flights from both St Thomas and Nevis to St Kitts.
The route will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
The new route “not only opens doors to breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture but also fosters economic growth and opportunity,” Cape Air President and CEO Linda Markham told Caribbean Journal.
The flights open up St Kitts to the significant number of airlines that already fly from the mainland United States to St Thomas’ Cyril King International Airport.
St Kitts has been getting a number of new flights in the last few years, including a landmark new route from New York on JetBlue that launched just about a year ago.
So what about cost?
Including taxes, a sample booking from St Thomas to St Kitts is priced at about $741.10 for the second week of December.
