Taste of the Caribbean Is Making a Comeback

For years, it was one of the most beloved Caribbean events: Taste of the Caribbean, the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s annual culinary showcase of top young chefs from around the region.

And now it’s coming back.

“Taste,” as the event typically known, will return this year in November alongside the CHTA’s Caribbean Hospitality Industry Exchange Forum.

The event is a showcase and a friendly competition, pitting national culinary teams from around the Caribbean against each other for a flavorful, exciting demonstration and interactive culinary festival.

It’s highlighted by the Taste of the Caribbean Awards, which include Caribbean Chef of the Year, Caribbean Junior Chef of the Year, Caribbean Bartender of the Year, and Caribbean Pastry Chef of the Year.

This year’s Taste of the Caribbean will be held Nov. 18-20 at the Kovens Conference Center in North Miami, Fla.
