At Two Hyatt Resorts in the Mexican Caribbean, a Michelin-Starred Twist
It launched quietly last year: a new “Supper club” series in the Mexican Caribbean, set at Hyatt’s Impression by Secrets-branded resorts in Mexico.
Now, the Impression Makers Supper Club series is back, led by Michelin-starred Chef Stefano Secchi from New York’s Rezdora.
The second edition of the Supper Club will offer a special tasting menu by Secchi, with one on Sept. 26 at Impression Moxché by Secrets’s Allora restaurant; and another on Sept. 28 at Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets’ Spezia eatery.
The first dinner is inspired by Rezdora’s Emilia-Romagna cuisine, while the dinner at Sepzia is inspired by his newest restaurant, Massara.
Each dinner costs $200 per person, with eight courses including wine pairings. It’s open to guests of the hotel and outside guests as well.
It’s a “unique, intimate platform,” for guests, says Melanie Benozich of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection.
“Food has this incredible power to connect us and take us on a journey,” Secchi tells Caribbean Journal. “Through local flavors and creative dishes inspired by the local community, we’re not just sharing a meal but also stories that bring us closer together.”
