Grenada’s Top All-Inclusive Resort Is Staying Open All Year
Grenada’s legendary all-inclusive resort, the Spice Island Beach Resort, is staying open all year round, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The resort typically closes in September ahead of the high season, but has announced plans to remain open throughout 2024, citing “strong bookings.
“Summer occupancy is strong, and we have already closed several room categories for the Festive season over Christmas and the New Year,” Janelle Hopkin, President and Managing Director of Spice Island Beach Resort said.
That includes an upsurge in bookings from the United States, Hopkin said.
“We continue to see strong bookings from our major market in the U.K., however we have also seen an upsurge in U.S. bookings, particularly from the Northeast corridor,” said Hopkin.
We’ve long been big fans of the resort, recently naming it among the top 10 luxury all-inclusive resorts in the entire Caribbean.

Grenada has been seeing what analytics firm ForwardKeys called a “remarkable recovery” since the passage of Hurricane Beryl near the island.
