The all-inclusive Divi Carina Bay Beach Resorts in St Croix has named a new general manager, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The resort has tapped Byron Bell to the role, it confirmed.
Bell served most recently as the assistant general manager of the popular Bolongo Bay Beach Resort in St Thomas.
“My previous roles have shown me that the all-inclusive format is perfect for taking care of all our guests’ needs while allowing them the flexibility to explore the island. With a freshly renovated property, a wonderful frontline team garnering accolades from guests, and St. Croix’s natural beauty, I’m very excited to take the helm at Divi Carina Bay,” said Bell.
Bell succeeds former general manager Raul Urbina, who had taken over the role in January.
The resort opened two years ago after a top-to-bottom transformation project that turned the property into an adults-only hotel. That came along with the debut of a new resort-within-a-resort concept called Oceans.
