Mexico’s ultra-popular destination of Los Cabos is set to welcome a new hotel next month, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The new 68-room Tropicana Los Cabos will be opening its doors in August, in the heart of San Jose del Cabo’s main square.
The resort has two eateries, a pool, a pool bar, a wellness center, a game room, a courtyard with a jacuzzi and daily programming that’s free for guests. It’s also home to nearly 8,400 square feet of flexible meeting space.
The property is within easy access to some of the city’s top attractions, from its Blue Flag beaches to bike paths and art galleries.
The new Tropicana is a reinvigoration of a historic hotel that first opened its doors as the Tropicana Inn back in 1956.
“We are so pleased to introduce our new version of the classic Tropicana experience,” said Tropicana Los Cabos general manager Manuel Sillas. “Tropicana Los Cabos sits in the very heart of San Jose del Cabo and upon opening will offer guests a home base for exploring this vibrant, walkable destination. With so many options for grand hotels and beach resorts in Los Cabos at large, we are proud to offer something different – intimacy and community, along with exemplary hospitality.”
