Seven Mile Beach is a Caribbean signature. If you’ve been there, you know: the impossibly clear water, the oh-so-soft sand. And for years, Marriott’s Grand Cayman resort has been one its centerpieces.
Now, after a $20 million upgrade, the resort has a new look (and a few new rooms, too).
The Grand cayman Marriott has officially unveiled the results of its large-scale renovation, one that includes two additional guest rooms and new-look suites.
Marriott says the new look “incorporates shades of blue and island inspired artwork that truly encapsulates Grand Cayman’s natural environment.”
The property also reconfigured a handful of rooms into four new “family suites,” which include everything from bunk beds to “activity nooks.”
So what else is new about the rooms?
Marriott added 65-inch smart TVs, new lighting, new tech like USB and extra charging stations and the addition of walk-in showers in the vast majority of the units.
GM Hermes Cuello says the new-look rooms “are designed to provide a calm and superior welcoming experience for travelers to delight in coming to our Summer House.”
