Sun Country Is Adding More Nonstop Flights to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Low-cost carrier Sun Country Airlines is adding a new nonstop route to the Dominican Republic’s tourism capital, Punta Cana, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Beginning this winter, Sun Country will run a new nonstop flight between Milwaukee’s Mitchell International airport and the beach-filled resort destination of Punta Cana.

The new route, which kicks off Dec. 26, will be running roundtrip flights through April 7, 2025, airport officials confirmed.

Milwaukee-Punta Cana flights will operate twice per week through Jan. 22.

On Jan. 23, the Punta Cana service will expand to four times each week through April.
