Canadian travel company Air Transatlantic is expanding its service to the Caribbean’s two most popular destinations: Cancun, Mexico and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
This winter, Air Transat is increasing frequencies to both Cancun and Punta Cana, adding a pair of extra weekly flights to both hotspots.
That means what will be a total of 14 weekly flights between Toronto and Cancun; and 14 total flights between Toronto and Punta Cana.
Transat will also be operating three flights each week from Ottawa to both Punta Cana and Cancun, and one weekly frequency from London, Ontario to both destinations.
The company said it is focusing its growth on “flagship destinations,” according to Sebastian Ponce, Transat’s chief revenue officer.
