It’s Getting Even Easier to Fly to Costa Rica
It’s getting easier than ever to fly to the eco-tourism hotspot of Costa Rica, and now American Airlines is set to launch another expansion to the Central American country.
This summer, American Airlines is planning to double its nonstop flights between Charlotte and Costa Rica: that means a total of two daily flights from Charlotte to Liberia.
The expanded service will be kicking off on June 5, as part of a wider broadening of service in the Caribbean Basin for American, particularly out of the Charlotte market.
That includes new daily service between Charlotte and Bridgetown, Barbados and an expansion to two daily flights between Charlotte and St Thomas.
All of those routes’ expansions will begin on June 5, Caribbean Journal confirmed.
Costa Rica remains one of the region’s stronger eco hotspots, including a number of outstanding boutique resorts like the newly-revamped Nayara Gardens, which just completed a comprehensive renovation of all of its rooms — all of which now cost their own private plunge pools.
