Canadian leisure carrier WestJet is restarting several routes to popular destinations in Mexico this winter, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The company is restarting service between Edmonton and Mazatlan; Prince George and Puerto Vallarta; and Victoria and Los Cabos.
Edmonton-Mazatlan service will kick off on Nov. 4, operating twice each week.
Prince George-Puerto Vallarta service will launch on Dec. 16, operating once weekly on Saturdays, and Victoria-Los Cabos will kick off Nov. 9 and run once weekly on Thursdays.
WestJet says its schedule, which also includes new service between Winnipeg and Huatulco, is in response to “high demand for travel to the popular beaches of Mexico.”
WestJet will be flying to more than 10 different destinations in Mexico this winter.
