American Airlines Adding More Barbados Flights for Holidays
As part of a broader expansion in Miami, American Airlines is planning more flights to Barbados for the upcoming winter holiday season.
The airline has announced that it will be expanding service between Miami International Airport and Barbados’ Grantley Adams International Airport to three daily flights for the holidays.
That will cover the period between Dec. 20 and Jan. 7, according to the carrier.
It’s another boost for an island that has seen a strong tourism recovery in 2023.
Barbados is having a strong summer season, buoyed by demand for events like the ultra-popular Crop Over festival.
