Antigua’s top restaurant group has added another exciting new outpost on the island: Roquita, a Spanish-inspired tapas and wine bar in the heart of English Harbour.
The new project is the latest from Rocks Group, which is also behind the world-renowned Sheer Rocks, beloved beach bar Catherine’s Cafe and the sleek new Asian fusion spot Rokuni. (Sheer Rocks is regularly ranked among the top restaurants in the entire Caribbean).
“We’re very excited about this new project,” the company told Caribbean Journal in a statement.
Roquita, which officially opened its doors last week, focuses on wine and cocktails, with an “intentional yet relaxed menu” with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
It’s a casual spot, with no reservations required, from pastries and toasts in the morning to a selection of tapas at dinner (and yes, sangria, too).
It’s a Rocks Group eatery with a “fun Spanish twist,” the company says.
Roquita, like all Rocks Group restaurants, will be participating in Antigua’s highly-anticipated Restaurant Week next month.
Roquita is set on Harbour Walk on Dockyard Drive.
