The former El Zafiro beach resort in St Maarten has a new name and a new identity.
The hotel has been rebranded as the CocoVaa Beach Resort, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The new-look boutique hotel styles itself as an “immersive beachfront experience,” set on one of the most beautiful corners of Simpson Bay.
It’s home to just eight suites, each with either a balcony or a terrace and ocean views.
Seven of the suites have one bedroom, while one suite, the Diamond Suite, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The hotel is in close proximity to St Maarten’s Princess Juliana International Airport.
It officially opened its doors as Cocovaa last month.
