Atlantis Paradise Island Has a New Kids’ Water Park

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 6, 2023

The Bahamas’ signature waterpark has unveiled a new addition just for kids.

Atlantis Paradise Island’s Aquaventure park has debuted a new waterpark for kids under 54 inches tall: the new Poseidon’s Playzone.

The new water play “fort,” as the property describes it, replaces the former Splashers pool.

The 30-foot-tall, 9,000-square-foot fort is “bursting with color, excitement and Atlantean adventures,” according to the resort.

That includes interactive water play elements, water cannons, fountains, buckets, four slides, bubbling jets, overhead bridges and a water wheel, among other features.

Atlantis has also added a “refreshed” snack bar along with four new family-friendly cabanas overlooking the new Triton’s Tower water play fort and pool.

“These cabanas are the perfect home base for families to enjoy the day exploring,” the property said.

Each cabana has capacity for up to six people.
