The Fred, named after King Frederik V of Denmark and also the namesake for the town of Frederiksted where the property is located, is a beachfront, boutique resort and spa that includes a restaurant and a gift shop. It’s the only beachfront resort that’s also located in town and the first new hotel to open on St. Croix since 1986.The Fred is made up of six renovated and preserved historic structures, each with its own unique personality and story.
