Hilton Reopens All-Inclusive in La Romana, Dominican Republic
Hilton is reopening its Hilton La Romana Family resort in the Dominican Republic this week, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.
The all-inclusive resort has been shuttered since the passage of Hurricane Fiona in September.
The property is one of several resorts in the Playa Hotels and Resorts portfolio in the Dominican Republic that were damaged during the storm.
The resort has a mix of 418 rooms and suites, including a number of premium swim-out suites in both king and double configurations.
Dining concepts include four a la carte eateries, a buffet, a pizzeria, a cage and a grill.
Beverage options range from the Las Palmas Swim Up Bar to the “One for the Road” lobby bar, totaling six.
There is also more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
The Hilton La Romana Family’s sister resort, the Hilton La Romana Adult, is planning to reopen its doors on Nov. 20.
Hilton has been rapidly expanding its all-inclusive offering in the Caribbean in recent years, including a broad slate of new resorts in the Mexican Caribbean.
That’s the product of an alliance with Playa, whose Caribbean all-inclusive portfolio continues to grow, too.
