Punta Cana’s Westin Puntacana Resort is set to debut the results of a multimillion-dollar renovation project, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The Marriott resort is undergoing a major update by owner Grupo Puntacana, with a “refreshing change.”
The property closed last month to complete the project, with a reopening pegged for Oct. 15.
The changes will “introduce new sophisticated spaces that blend modern comfort with inspiring exquisiteness,” according to the resort.
That’s along with the complete remodeling of the Brassa and Anani restaurants, and the construction of two new themed eateries: a steakhouse and an Asian restaurant.
The resort is part of the 15,000-acre Puntacana Resort and Club, set on three miles of beachfront in the Dominican Republic’s tourism hub.
