St Maarten Removing Covid Insurance Requirement for Visitors
St Maarten is set to remove its requirement that visitors possess Covid-19 insurance.
Beginning Oct. 15, the insurance will no longer be mandatory for travelers into St Maarten.
“We would like for this to be optional for travelers,” said St Maarten Public Health Minister Omar Ottley.
Visitors must still show proof of vaccination in order to be exempted from testing; unvaccinated visitors must still show proof of a negative test to enter the destination.
In March, St Maarten will be removing its electronic health form registration as well.
