St Maarten Tourism Minister “We Are Now Fully Open”
Dutch Caribbean island of St Maarten has lifted all business restrictions on the island.
That follows news that the island would no longer require testing for all vaccinated travelers.
Regular business hours have now resumed, with a halt to “all measures related” to Covid, according to Tourism Minister Roger Lawrence.
“We are now fully open,” he said. “The lifting of measures will allow us as a country to see a continued expansion in economic activity for the remainder of the year.”
Lawrence cautioned that while the virus “has not disappeared,” cases “remain low and manageable.”
