Marriott Punta Cana All-Inclusive Gets Green Globe Certification

Marriott’s Royalton Bavaro, an Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort and Casino, has received Green Globe certification.

The certification involves an in-depth sustainability audit, reviewing 44 core criteria supported by 380 compliance indicators.

It’s the first year Royalton Bavaro has received the certification, joining three other Marriott properties in Punta Cana as Green Globe Certified: Royalton Punta Cana, Hideaway at Royalton Punta Cana and Royalton Splash Punta Cana.

Royalton’s sustainability practices range from the increased use of recyclable materials to a broad focus on environmental presentation.

Royalton Bavaro joins a total of 21 hotel properties in the Dominican Republic that have been certified by the company.
