Popular Aruba Hotel Sold
A leading hotel in the Dutch Caribbean has been sold, Caribbean Journal has exclusively learned.
A deal to purchase the Brickell Bay Beach Club hotel in Aruba has closed.
The 97-key hotel includes a 16,000-square-foot retail complex, in a strong location in the Palm Beach area.
The Miami-based CBRE Hotels team, led by Christian Charre, was the broker on the transaction.
The property will be significantly renovated and rebranded by the new owner, sources told Caribbean Journal Invest.
The seller was Brickell Bay Real Estate NV, which had owned the property for some time.
The buyer is a local investor called Sunup Real Estate NV.
It’s likely that the hotel will be rebranded as a Radisson Red, sources told CJI.
The hotel would join the Radisson Blu Aruba as Radisson-branded properties on the island.
