Cape Air Launches St Thomas-Anguilla Flights
Regional carrier Cape Air has inaugurated its newest route in the Caribbean.
The company has officially kicked off new service between St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and Anguilla.
The new flights operate twice daily.
“It gives me tremendous pleasure to welcome Cape Air to Anguilla,” said Antigua Tourism Minister Haydn Hughes. “Cape Air has been a significant player in San Juan and St. Thomas is a second home to many Anguillians. Cape Air also serves the British Virgin Islands, so this opens up the BVI, the USVI and Puerto Rico to our people and to our visitors. It makes traveling easy for our returning residents, tourists, visitors and the business traveler.”
The flights take about 55 minutes; flights depart from St Thomas at 9:20 AM and 3:20 PM, with return service from Anguilla at 11:20 AM and 4:35 PM.
“Like the Cape Air team, we Anguillians share a commitment to delivering a product and a service that meets and exceeds the expectations of our visitors as well as our important tourism partners,” said Stacey Liburd, Director of Tourism for Anguilla. “Thanks to Cape Air, we now look forward to introducing the delights of Anguilla to a whole new universe of travelers.”
