Hilton Has a New All-Inclusive in Curacao

By: Alexander Britell - September 1, 2021

Hilton has continued its Caribbean all-inclusive expansion with its first-ever all-inclusive on the island of Curacao.

The new Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao All-Inclusive Resort is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, a nod to the surging interest in all-inclusive vacations in the wider Caribbean.

The property, set near downtown Otrabanda and Punda in Willemstad, is owned by Corendon Hotels and Resorts, managed by Corendon Curacao Holding.

“The grand opening celebration is the culmination of many months of hard work and collaboration with city officials to bring Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao All-Inclusive Resort to life,” said the resort’s general manager, Biray Öğüt. “It is incredibly rewarding to have the unwavering support of the community and our local leadership, and we want to thank them for helping to make this project possible.”

The 399-room resort includes its own private beach, four pools, and outdoor activities like diving, beach volleyball and shuffleboard.

That’s along with nine distinct dining concepts, including specialty restaurants, a cigar and rum tasting lounge and pool and beach bars.

The poolscape includes six waterslides, including what the hotel bills as one of the most renowned waterslides in the Caribbean — the King Cobra.

It’s the latest in a growing all-inclusive portfolio for Hilton, which has also opened new resorts in the region in the Dominican Republic and Mexico.

That growth has come as more and more travel companies enter the all-inclusive space, most notably Marriott, which recently debuted its All-Inclusive by Marriott collectionin the Caribbean and Mexico.

It’s also a sign of the growing all-inclusive sector in Curacao, which now has a pair of AMR Collection properties and a Sandals on the way, too.

Curacao is currently open for tourism; for more on the Dutch Caribbean island’s entry protocols, see here.
