Saint Lucia Has a New Minister of Tourism

Saint Lucia has a new Minister of Tourism, Caribbean Journal has learned.

New Prime Minister Philip Pierre has named Dr Ernest Hilaire to the role, which will also include the portfolios of investment, the creative industries, culture and information.

Hilaire succeeds former Tourism Minister Dominic Fedee in the role; Fedee had served in that role since 2016.

Hilaire’s previous experience includes managing Saint Lucia’s hosting of the 2007 ICC World Cup of Cricket.
