Nassau’s Graycliff Gets Safe Tourism Stamp

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - June 24, 2021

One of the leading hotels in The Bahamas has received a nod for its health and safety efforts.

The Graycliff Hotel has been awarded the Travellers Health Assurance Stamp for “Healthier Safer Tourism” by the Caribbean Public Health Agency.

Graycliff is the only business in The Bahamas to receive the accolade from CARPHA, the sole public health agency responsible for preventing disease, promoting and protecting health, in collaboration with the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) and respective member countries.

“We’re honoured to have been awarded Travellers Health Assurance Stamp. Our team continues to uphold all of our health and safety measures which go beyond the ones required by these entities and the Government of the Bahamas,” says Enrico Garzaroli, CEO of Graycliff. “We’re quite transparent in our safety measures, we have a video on our website showing what we do and each guest has to complete a contact tracing form as well as show proof of either full vaccination or a negative test taken within five days to enter Graycliff Hotel & Restaurant.”
