Holland America is planning to return to the Caribbean this fall, Caribbean Journal has learned.
On Oct. 23, the cruise line will kick off a Caribbean season out of Fort Lauderdale with its first sailing on Nieuw Amsterdam.
That will be followed by a Caribbean cruise on the Rotterdam ship on Nov. 3, the Eurodam on Nov. 14 and Nieuw Statenda on Nov. 21.
The line’s Caribbean cruises will range from four to 14 days; all of them will include a call at Half Moon Cay, Holland America Line’s private island in The Bahamas.
All of the ships will be sailing itineraries from October through March and April.
The line’s Eurodam ship will also sail a total of 12 Panama Canal Sunfarer cruises, which include a partial Panama Canal exploration of Gatun Lake.
