Belize is set to welcome back its first cruise ship call since the onset of the pandemic, Caribbean Journal has learned.
On July 7, the Carnival Vista ship will call on Belize, tourism officials confirmed this week.
Because the ship will be a “fully vaccinated” cruise, Belize will not be implementing a travel bubble.
The country has enacted a series of protocols to guide each step of the cruise cycle, from home port to destination and return, according to the Belize Tourism Board.
Cruise passengers will be allowed to go on both guided and self-guided tours.
