What the Latest Caribbean Hotel Occupancy Numbers Say

Low hotel occupancy in the Caribbean is not exactly a surprise right now — but the numbers are slowly climbing upward as the region continues to reopen, according to the latest data from hotel analytics firm STR. 

Caribbean hotel occupancy was 19.8 percent in August, a 68.1 percent decline compared to the same month in 2019.
