Hyatt has opened another new hotel in Colombia, this time with the debut of the Hyatt Place Bogota Convention Center.
It’s the latest debut for the Hyatt Place brand in the wider Caribbean Basin region, following the recent debut of the Hyatt Place in Aruba last month.
“The Hyatt Place brand continues to strategically grow throughout Latin America, and Hyatt is thrilled to mark the opening of the first Hyatt Place hotel to Colombia,” said Luciano Julio, regional vice president of operations, Hyatt Place and Hyatt House. “Hyatt Place Bogotá/Convention Center promises to help guests get the most out of their stay with stylish social spaces, spacious guestrooms and added conveniences that help guests balance the priorities of work and life while visiting Bogota.”
The hotel is set in the heart of Bogota’s Quinta Paredes neighborhood, about 15 minutes from Bogota’s El Dorado International Airport.
The 142-room hotel has a breakfast bar, a fresh-food market, a bar and more than 3,000 square feet of event space.
It’s the third property under the Hyatt umbrella in Colombia.
It joins the Grand Hyatt Bogota and the Hyatt Regency Cartagena; the latter first made its debut in Colombia’s top Caribbean destination in 2016.
