There’s perhaps no lovelier time to visit St Barth than the late spring and summer.
The crowds are fewer, the vibe is far more relaxed and, most importantly, the prices fall precipitously.
And if you’re looking to spend a villa vacation on the island, this is the time to do it.
Here are five villas to think about for the next few seasons, thanks to our friends at St Barth Properties.
Villa Java, Marigot
This three-bedroom villa has direct access to the beach in Marigot Bay, with an indoor living area opening out to a covered outdoor terrace for perfect al fresco lunches and dinners. It also comes with kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling gear.
Villa Gertrude, St Jean
Set in the hills above the island’s most famous beach, this villa is one of the island’s best values, with a sparkling little pool and Creole charm.
Palmier Royal Estate, Mont Jean
This massive hotel is the only one on the island with 13 bedrooms — and capacity for 26 guests. The estate, set just above Marigot Bay, has direct beach access. It’s perfect for a large-scale family vacation or even a corporate retreat.
Villa Aqua, Grand Cul de Sac
This modern six-bedroom villa has a stunning view of the turquoise waters of Grand Cul de Sac, along with private beach access. Even better? There’s an oversized infinity pool, too.
